Whether you have a few hours or a whole day to spare, we welcome community members of all kinds to join our efforts.

Plus, some employers offer "Volunteer Time Off", so why not take advantage of this opportunity to give back to our community?

Visit the FIPPOA Volunteer Program website to sign up and let us know your areas of interest and time commitment. We can't wait to work with you and make a positive impact in our community!

Community Clean-up Day

Join us for our Community Clean-Up Day and take advantage of our specific dumpsters provided to the community for free by FIPPOA!

We'll notify you of the dates and what items can be collected in the dumpsters through our e-blast newsletter. And remember, placing household and yard refuse on Fire Island Boulevard is illegal, so don't put any waste on the boulevard!

For more information about bulk household waste please refer to the Waste Collection Schedule & Guidelines (2023).

Let's work together to keep our community clean and beautiful!

Board of Directors

Ready to make a difference in our community and have a say in the future of the Pines? Consider joining the FIPPOA and Pines Foundation Board of Directors!

Our board consists of fifteen dedicated community volunteers who are committed to delivering contributions to the Pines community. Directors are elected every year at the Fall Community Meeting and serve a four-year term, with three to four positions up for (re)-election each year. Candidates must be regular members of FIPPOA.

Plus, every two years we elect our Executive Officers - President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer - for two-year terms. Executive Officers must be one of the fifteen members elected to serve on the board.

Join us in making a positive impact on our community and apply to be a part of our Board of Directors. We appreciate your commitment and dedication to our community!
